This page explains which personal data is processed when you read this website, write to me or book a meeting. I kept the website deliberately simple: no cookies, no analytics or tracking, no advertising and no embedded third party content. The fonts and images are served from this website itself.
1. Who is responsible
Rubin Basha
c/o BasalBit GmbH
Deckerstraße 39
70372 Stuttgart
Germany
Email: rubin.basha@basalbit.com
Write to me at this address for any question about your data or to use your rights.
2. Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus), which also delivers it through its content delivery network. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that the server needs to deliver it and that the hosting provider may log: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, the amount of data transferred and your browser and operating system.
This data is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and find errors. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted by the hosting provider after a limited period. More in the Hostinger privacy policy.
3. Contact form
When you send the contact form, the name, email address and message you enter are transmitted to Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which forwards them to me by email. Please do not send confidential information through the form.
I use your data only to answer your message and, if we work together, to prepare that work. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for inquiries about a possible collaboration and otherwise my legitimate interest in answering messages (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). I delete the messages when they are no longer needed, unless a legal retention duty applies. More in the Web3Forms privacy policy.
4. Email
If you write to me by email, I process your email address and the content of your message to answer you, on the same legal bases as for the contact form.
5. Booking a meeting
The "Book a meeting" links open my booking page on Microsoft Bookings, a service of Microsoft. The page is not embedded here, so nothing is sent to Microsoft until you open it. If you book a meeting, Microsoft processes the details you enter, such as your name, email address and the chosen time, and I receive them to hold the meeting. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. More in the Microsoft privacy statement.
6. Cookies and local storage
This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser's local storage. That is why there is no cookie banner.
7. Links to other websites
Notes and pages link to other websites such as LinkedIn, YouTube, BasalBit and ReRune. No data is sent to them until you click a link. After that, their operators are responsible for the processing, for example LinkedIn.
8. Recipients and transfers outside the EU
The services above process data only as far as needed for their purpose. If a provider processes personal data outside the EU or EEA, this happens on the basis of the transfer mechanisms of the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg.
10. Changes
I update this page when the website changes, for example when I add a new service.
